.jpg "Rotary Club") Last August 31st, Luis Villacrés, Governor of District 4400 of Rotary Club International, visited Dr. Werner Moeller, inspector of Luis Vernaza General Hospital, to strengthen the ties of friendship between both institutions. The Rotary Club took the opportunity to meet some of the beneficiaries of donations made by the club.
Since the Rotary Club signed an agreement of cooperation with the JBG in 2007, the hospital has received more than $190,000 in equipment: 4 re-synchronizers ($25,000 each); 3 cardiac de-fibrillators ($25,000 each); 15 pacemakers ($3,000). Above mentioned equipment were used on patients of the Cardiology Department by Dr. Luis Hallon. To see more images, click here.
