He is a member of the Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil since 1999 and inspector of the General Cemetery of the Guayaquil since the year 2000.

He was President of the Guayas Province Transit Commission (1978) and twice “ad honorem” President of the Study Commission for the Development of the Río Guayas Basin and the Santa Elena Península (CEDEGE) for the years 1980-1984 and 1988-1992)

He is presently the Executive President and Founder of Compañía Técnica Nacional S.A., since 1956.
