The Enrique C. Sotomayor Gynecologic and Obstetrics Maternity Hospital has a long history of providing healthcare services to pregnant women. However, since current facilities are unable to cope with Ecuador’s demographic growth, a new hospital is urgently required.

This Gynecological Obstetrics Hospital can call upon highly qualified medical personnel and paramedics. Its different service areas include the C-Section Surgery (Toco-Surgical), Hospitalization, Outpatients, Laparoscopy, Neonatology, Laboratories, Blood Bank, Imaging Department, and High Risk Pregnancy, among others.

We provide additional social services through two clinics in remote areas located in the outskirts of the city. Both treatment centers are equipped with computerized databases containing patients’ clinical and medical histories with a direct link to Enrique C. Sotomayor Maternity Hospital.

Currently, this entity has a total of 505 beds to serve the public.
